In addition to helping companies expand their customer base online through a comprehensive combination of web and graphic design, social networking, and marketing, I also help individuals (non-businesses) with their own websites that range from wedding announcements, personal pages, online resumes, and online portfolios.
I first got started in website development in high school while attending Enterprise High School, a small 7th grade through 12th grade school in Enterprise, Utah, starting on August 18, 1997. I was a journalist and editor for my high school newspaper, The Paw Print, for two years up until I graduated from high school on May 23, 2003. I caught the website design and digital marketing bugs in high school, when I took my very first steps into web development with an HTML coding class that I stepped out of my comfort zone to take.
Over the last 17-plus years since beginning this web design and development journey, I have leveraged a wide range of modern technologies and platforms, including HTML5, PHP, WordPress/WooCommerce, Magento, and Shopify, to build hundreds of websites and web pages for both businesses and individuals. Throughout this period and continuing to this day, SEO / SEM have been a major focus.
My specialties include HTML5, PHP, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, and Liquid (Shopify).

What has being a website / app developer and marketer taught me? I wish I could say patience, but I figure that will be a life lesson I learn during parenthood. But it has taught me how to rely on myself. This career made me realize that I could do and be anything. Learning new things was never beyond my reach. Being self-motivated was and is a lifestyle choice, not something that people only talk about on their resumes.
In short, I learned how to take the best things about myself and improve them tenfold, even if that meant stepping out of my comfort zone for a time — just like I did when I signed up for that HTML coding class in high school long ago.
